Experimentation with Leather and Upholstery

My introduction to leather and upholstery began with a family friend who owned a furniture store specializing in bespoke couches. At the end of each sales year, he passed along outdated swatches to my mother, and I started cutting the leather into small shapes, arranging them into patterns, and discovering how fragments could be transformed. What began as simple repurposing soon became my first step into working with leather, and later upholstery fabric, as forms of artistic expression.
